Live group fitness streaming is a method of delivering our award winning FitBingo™️ to and FitWord™️ classes online. FitStream allows for both one-way (participants follow along but aren't visible to instructor) and two-way streaming (both the instructor and participants can hear and see each other).

At FitStream, we believe that bringing joy, movement, and connection to care homes and retirement venues starts with exceptional quality behind the scenes. That's why our live classes are broadcast from a dedicated, professional-grade studio designed specifically for delivering crystal-clear, engaging fitness sessions tailored to seated participants.

Equipped with multiple 4K PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras, our setup captures every angle with stunning detail and smooth precision. These advanced cameras allow our expert instructors to demonstrate movements clearly, ensuring you can follow along safely and confidently—no matter where you're joining from.

Professional studio lighting illuminates the space evenly, eliminating shadows and creating a bright, welcoming atmosphere that translates perfectly to your screen. Combined with a reliable high-speed satellite connection, we guarantee stable, uninterrupted streaming even in challenging conditions, so your weekly Monday class at 2pm GMT arrives flawlessly every time.

Of course, the heart of the studio is a fully equipped fitness environment with all the essentials: comfortable seating options, supportive props for bodyweight exercises, and plenty of space for our instructors to guide you through functional fitness, flexibility work, and fun activities like FitBingo and FitWord.

How FitStream Works

When you sign up to FitStream:

• The activities coordinator will receive a weekly email detailing logon details together with the resources to be used for the next FitStream Live Group Class
• The resources for either the FitBingo or FitWord class will need to be printed out
• A webcam is optional and not a requirement to use FitStream as this is a streaming service
• The classes are specially designed so to avoid injury to your group and provide a meaningful exercise class
• Classes are streamed every Monday at 2pm (GMT) and are 60minutes in length
• All that's needed to be provided by yourself is a small table and a pencil/pen

What all is available on FitStream?.

At present the following is available, taking into account both cognitive and physical fitness activities for your group.

FitBingo - a variation on the game bingo. The calling of numbers is alternated with various physical exercises, with the game aim to produce a full completed line, either straight down, across, diagonal or just the four corners. All cards are individually produced and no two cards are the same. Each class sees a different set of cards produced all printed in large format.

FitWord - is a reminiscence based activity, which comprises of a crossword puzzle, printed in large format, with visual clues used in conjunction with the word bank. Each clue is alternated with various physical exercises. Due to the nature of FitWord reminiscence conversations are sparked between class participants. Topics can be customised for specific classes.

This service is best suited to situations where our in person live classes are not possible. The FitStream classes compliment both our in person live classes and our at home live classes. This is a subscription service and may be cancelled with one calendar month notice in writing.
