Athletic Older Persons, or exercising for the mature client, has become very popular. It's logical that the more active you are, the more active you'll stay. And it's never too late to start!.
We've spent all our lives looking after our families and being relied upon. Now it's time for us to pay ourselves a bit of attention and start focusing on our goals and how we can make sure the next part of our journey is enjoyable and fulfilling. As we get older, we begin to think about maintaining our independence, our groups of valued friends and remaining active and relatively fit and trim. We need all these things for our physical and mental wellbeing.
If you worry about your joint mobility and don't feel as flexible as you used to, or perhaps you need to lose a few pounds, get in touch with me and you can join one of my local walks (it's a great way to meet new people and we have a really good time), or treat yourself to a series of Personal Training sessions.
As we age our bodies, bones and muscles need exercise more than ever. Exercise has been proven to strengthen bones and to slow the atrophy process of muscle tissue. Don't think of exercise as just being a means-to-an-end. We want you to enjoy the journey to a new fitter and happier you!.
